Tia looked up where Lilith pointed to see the steeple she mentioned. They weren’t far now and soon they’d be in a safe place. Unless…

Lilith stopped, looking back at the girl for a moment, her thoughts pausing her. She tried to pass it off as though she had heard something, but she retreated to her mind.
The SOLDIERs had genetic mutations that caused wings to grow. Perhaps…she really is an experiment, or she is tied to the SOLDIER experiments?
